Authentic Movement
Authentic Movement is a major offering in my work, one very close to me heart. The client moves with their eyes closed, seeking impulse and making choices around movement. The therapist witnesses them. The mover then speaks from their moving experience while the therapist listens and witnesses them. This practice offers a possible sacred space to be seen, to express what has been judged or shunned until it is ready to emerge. It is a deeply developmental and relational practice. For many, including myself, it is also deeply mystical. I currently train in the Discipline of Authentic Movement. I offer authentic movement with individual clients and in groups.
